Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Ranks Fifth Among Top Performers in Maharashtra’s e-Governance Evaluation

The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) has secured the 5th rank in the prestigious e-Governance evaluation conducted under the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s 150-Day Programme. Competing with 97 Boards, Corporations, and Authorities across the state, the Board recorded an outstanding performance in the e-Governance category analysis.
This significant achievement reflects the Board’s strong commitment to digital transformation, technology-driven administration, and the delivery of citizen-centric services, bringing transparency and accountability at every stage for the benefit of the all stakeholders across the State.
The success is largely attributed to the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Member Secretary, Shri M. Devender Singh, IAS. During the evaluation process, he effectively presented the Board’s e-Governance initiatives and aligned MPCB’s digital roadmap with the objectives of the 150-Day Programme conceptualized by the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
Additionally, the continuous guidance and supervision of the Hon’ble Chairman, Shri Siddheshji Kadam, provided the necessary impetus to the IT Department. With his support, excellent coordination was achieved during audits, data analysis, and technical presentations, enabling the Board to successfully meet all stringent evaluation criteria.
The achievement is also credited to the dedicated efforts of HODs, officers and staff from all branches of the board. Their hard work in ensuring data readiness, strengthening internal systems, and improving process efficiency played a crucial role in earning this recognition, as stated by the Hon’ble Member Secretary, Shri M. Devender Singh, IAS.
Securing a position among the top five is a source of motivation for the Board for bettering the overall Mission and Vision in the near future. The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board remains firmly committed to accelerating its e-Governance reforms, Govt Process Reengineering and setting new benchmarks in transparent, efficient, and accessible public service delivery, expressed the Hon’ble Chairman, Shri Siddhesh Kadam.
